What To Expect
What should you expect when visiting JWBC?
If you are coming to any of our worship or small group venues, we encourage you to come as you are. We have some who come in suits and dresses while others prefer blue jeans and T-shirts. We believe you can meet Jesus either way!
If I want to try a Sunday morning small group at 9:15 am, where should I go?
First of all any door greeter can assist you to the main Welcome Center. From there, someone will help you get your children or students registered and to their small group first (if you have children or students) and then escort you personally to a small group. BUT, don't worry! They won't leave you to walk in alone. Our small group escorts will see that you sit with someone that will help you find your way, especially to the Celebration and Praise at 10:30 am.
If I just want to try out the 10:30 am Worship and Praise service, is that ok?
Absolutely! Many people who end up getting plugged-in at JWBC start by attending large-group worship first. However, we believe it is critical for Christians to be included in smaller groups so we do encourage you to try a small group on Sunday mornings soon.
If my work schedule will not allow me to come on Sunday morning, do you offer another Worship and Praise Service at another time?
We have found that in the modern culture of America, it is critical to offer other worship venues for families who aren't able to worship on Sunday. This is why we have "Foundations," a Wednesday night mid-week large group worship service. "Foundations" meets in the Fellowship Hall just off the main covered entrance on the north side of our campus.
If I allow my children or student to come to church, how do I know they are safe and protected?
At JWBC, we take the protection of children and students very seriously! Every volunteer must submit and pass a comprehensive background check as well as undergo intense on-going training in their area of ministry. JWBC also has security personel on campus that are trained in crisis management. Our preschool wing has swipe-pass security systems in place and are locked down after drop off times and before pick-up times.
Will I be asked for money or pressured to give?
No. We believe that God honors His children when they freely give back tithes and offerings each week, but we do not ask for any monetary gift of our visitors. Your prescence as a visitor is the best gift you could give!
